Our Sincere condolences to family and the intire population of the Horn of Africa

21 septembre 2004. – I had the opportunity to acquaint myself with the great and skillfull politician AHMED DINI AHMED, son of this Horn known for instability and famine among strangers but for hospitality and human history among friends. We met first in Uppsala Sweden in december 2001 during the conference on peace in the Horn of Africa and the role of the Afar people that we organised together with our syster organisation Afar Friends in Sweden. I met him again at his home in Djibouti in februari 2003 during my participation in the Afar language symposium. I learned many things about the Horn of Africa in general and Djibouti in particular from this wise leader. He was an openminded man of principle and dignity.

In the name of the Swedish workers educational federation, branch of Uppsala and in my name, I would like to convey my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences to the relatives, all djiboutians and the member of his party ARD. – AS
